The commissioning of the Queen was followed by other ships of the same type: the Invicta in 1905, the Empress and the Victoria in 1907 and the Riviera in 1911. Paddle steamers almost completely disappeared, except for the Nord and the Pas-de-Calais, which were built in 1898 and sailed all the way until 1923. To replace them, SAGA brought back the Invicta and Empress which carried out French sea routes until the arrival of the Côte d'Azur in 1931 and the Côte d'Argent in 1933.
